Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. (Pinnacle) today announced that Daniel Linton has joined the leading, independent property/casualty consulting firm as senior consulting actuary and consulting actuary, respectively.

Linton joins Pinnacle from another actuarial consulting firm where he was a partner and consulting actuary. His actuarial services included reserving and forecasting in alternative risk markets with a focus on large deductible, self-insured entities including Fortune 500 corporations, captives and municipal risk pools.

He has over 16 years of actuarial experience and has served as the appointed actuary for multiple single parent and group captive insurance companies. Linton has extensive experience working with auditors, brokers and captive managers and routinely presents to boards of directors and executive committees.

Linton is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He also volunteers on the CAS Syllabus and Examination Committee..

Linton is located in Nashville.
